CubArtEdu offers serious programs devoted to art education programs
in Cuba and Puerto Rico. The programs require that participants
make a commitment to both the objectives of the program and to full
participation in all sessions and activities. We hope to provide
meaningful and memorable learning experiences for each participant.
CANCELLATIONS: Airline and land portion cancellation penalties:
60-45 days - cost of airfare
44-30 days - cost of airfare plus 30%
29 or fewer days - 100%
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to CubArtEdu.
We reserve the right to cancel any program in the case of insufficient
registration.
BAGGAGE TO CUBA: Participants should limit themselves to
one checked bag and one carry-on per person. Luggage limitations
are 66 lbs. free + $3.00 per lb. overweight from Toronto and 44lbs
from New York. There are no restrictions on bringing cameras and
tape recorders as long as these items are for your own use. Remember
that all carry-on luggage must be small enough to fit under the
seat in front of you. Baggage is at the owner's risk throughout
the trip, unless insured by the passenger.
RESPONSIBILITY: CubArtEdu and its service providers act only
as agents for the supply of air travel, ground transportation, accommodation
or other service and have no responsibility in whole or in part
for any delays, delayed departure or arrival, missed carrier connections,
loss, death, damage or injury to person or property or accident,
mechanical defect, failure or negligence of any nature howsoever
caused in connection with any of the services or for any substitution
of hotels or of common carrier equipment, with or without, notice,
or for any additional expenses occasioned thereby. RATES QUOTED
ARE CURRENT AT THE TIME OF THE PRINTING AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGES
THEREIN AT OR BEFORE TIME OF DEPARTURE. CubArtEdu reserves the right
to make any changes to the planned itinerary, with or without notice,
that might become necessary, with the mutual understanding that
any additional expenses will be paid by the individual passenger.
The right is retained to decline to accept or to retain any person
as a member of this trip at any time, subject only to the requirement
that the portion of the total amount paid which corresponds to the
unused services and accommodations are refunded. If the entire program
is cancelled for any reason, participants shall have no claim other
than for a full refund. By forwarding the deposit, the passenger
certifies that he/she has no physical, mental or other condition
of disability that would create a hazard for himself/herself or
other passengers and accepts the terms of this contract. Program
participants requiring extraordinary assistance must be accompanied
by someone who can and will be totally responsible for providing
all required assistance. Any mental or physical constraints must
be reported at the time of registration. Smoking is restricted during
all group activities such as when individuals are on the bus, waiting
in the lobby or at restaurants in the US and Canada. Smoking is
not restricted in Cuba. Individuals that are disruptive of the tour
will be asked to leave at their own expense.
I hereby certify that I have read and understood the information
pertaining to the program. I am aware that CubArtEdu is not liable
for the faults or defaults of other companies or persons that may
be used in the carrying out of the program. CubArtEdu, its instructors
or staff are not liable for accidents, baggage loss, delays or strikes.
In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort
and well being of the students or for any reason whatsoever to alter
the itinerary or arrangements of the course, such alterations may
be made without penalty to the sponsors. Additional expenses, if
any, shall be borne by the participant.
